Tait, age 6, had some fun with a pen and a notepad.
This is his story.
This is a baby. His name is George. George is saying “Goo Goo Ga Ga” and he is happy.
George is kind of happy. George is learning how to stand up.
George is starting to feel sad because he wants some mommy milk.
George is about to cry because he still wants mommy milk.
George is crying because he wants mommy milk and to snuggle.
Oh no! George is really sad and crying because he needs his mommy milk.
Yeah! George got his mommy milk and snuggle time. George is happy now. The End.

Oh, this is so charming. Love love love it!
My daughter made me a drawing for one of my LC class notebooks with a mama feeding a baby – maybe I’ll post it one of these days.

I love this story and illustrations! One of the gifts of nursing sons, I believe, is raising men who are supportive of and understand breastfeeding. When I’m tempted to shirk away from breastfeeding in public or be apologetic about my decision to let my son self-wean, I remember that he’ll *hopefully* remember it as a positive aspect of our relationship and offer support to breastfeeding women in his life.
