In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month, I’m sharing from our 100 Words Project every day.
I’ve heard it all: “How great that your breastfeeding!” “How long do you plan on nursing?” “Formula is much easier though.” “Your work will look down on you for taking breaks to pump.” “You probably won’t have enough milk.” “She will bite you, just wait.” “You’re STILL nursing her?” “Why in the world would anybody want to use a breast pump?” “Your daughter will end up with sexual problems if you don’t wean her soon.” “You’re going to give her Ricketts.”
Proudly STILL breastfeeding my 13 month old daughter, no matter what anyone has to say. Nature’s finest for nature’s finest.
